Quote of the Day

Josh started this on Saturday. We were trying to get to Salt Lake by a certain time and we were really late. When I realized how late I asked him,
"Why weren't you yelling at me?"
Yea, I said that.
Next was from Lacey.
"So, we are happy about all the crap in our lives."
and
"It was okay, it only lasted four months..."
Yup, pretty much.
Lastly from Tyler when asked what he wanted on his birthday pizza.
"Pineapple and something awesome."
I am sure they have that at the store somewhere.
Thanks Josh. I might just keep collecting.

Girls Weekend

Ok, it was more of a kids weekend with one late night chat. Anyway, it was fun! I drove to St. George to visit with Autumn and her kids and stay at a beautiful condo. We were the only ones in the whole building, which was good because those kids are loud! I mean they have lots of fun! We got to go swimming in the indoor pool and hot tub, do a little shopping, stop by the Frosttop for ice cream and watch lots of Sponge Bob. What more could you ask for? Oh yea, a great friend to share it with! We also had some adventures getting lost in St. George, walking up the stairs in the dark (they didn't turn the lights on), visiting a stranger to cook our cinnamon rolls because our oven broke, and then trying to squeeze the oven back into its slot so we could wash the dishes. What fun! It was so nice to see Autumn and get to sit and talk into the wee hours and to see her kids! I just love them! It was a great getaway weekend!

Wedding Thoughts

My Friend Ivy had this post: A Perfect Wedding.
It made me think of my roommate Adrianna's wedding.

It was so much fun and so Perfect!
Which made me think of my wedding.

Josh has the best face in this one. I know it is small. I think we were supposed to kiss, but we ended up smelling my flowers. So funny! I actually had a hard time kissing Josh because I had such a huge grin plastered on my face the whole time. You can't pucker up like that!
I loved it! We seriously had a blast!
Thanks Ivy for the great stimulus of my memories!

Cool 'Do Dude

Rome likes to do his own hair sometimes. When he does, I can not get it to go down. He really needs to share his secret. People want to know!

Straight Up- you can't tell, but they are different

This one was an Alfafla Curl, what a silly boy!

9 Month Pics

I really have to get these up. It is almost time for the next ones. I kept trying to put them into a really cute Smilebox, but wasn't ever happy with it. So, here they are all by their lonesomes.

Oh, that baby face is almost gone!

He is so mobile now, It is hard to get a picture!
Watch me come to get the camera...

Closer...

Closer... Too Close!

Aww come on, I just want to taste the camera

Eating is hard work, I like to do it laying down

Sweet!

Josh and I did not get to celebrate Valentine's day on the day, or even the weekend, but we did get to celebrate. I made us a fancy dinner of lobster tails and shrimp. (I got them on sale in Jan. and kept them in the freezer for just such and occasion.) Then I made chocolate covered strawberries and peanut butter cups with the leftover chocolate. It was a weird kind of chocolate though and didn't turnout quite how I would have hoped. I ate them all anyway.

Then, Josh got me these.

I was sure I had him convinced to buy me flowers. Yes, I know they are expensive on V-Day, but they are also frivolous and I wanted them. He hates flowers because they die and they make him sneeze. Ugh. Well, He found an art show and bought me these paintings of flowers. What a sweet guy. I love them!
Someday, I still want pretty flowers.
