Look Who's Walking!
Alright Rome! Not a baby anymore! We kinda tricked him into doing it last night. Then this morning, I told him to get Daddy and he walked from the other bedroom all the way into the living room by himself! Oh, I am so proud!

Story of A Chocolate Bar
The other day I ate a chocolate bar.
It was very delicious.
It had caramel in it.
Mmmmmm!
I ate the whole thing.
I felt a little bad about it.
I looked at my friends who are pregnant
And thought if I was pregnant
I could eat the whole chocolate bar
And not feel guilty about it.

Guess I can stop feeling guilty now.

House Beautiful
Remember when I asked what I could do to make my house look better? Well, Thanks to friends and family now it does. I hope people like it!

The Dining Room (the kitchen looks better too, I just didn't take a picture)

The Living Room

The Master Bedroom
The Master Bath

Guest Bed, Bath and Office

Baby's Room
The Front Garden, Oh So Pretty!
Mommy's Helper
Rome is just so helpful sometimes. Maybe a little too helpful. But he is so cute while he does it!

Helping to take all of the tissues out of the box, You didn't want me to test them out?
Helping to make dinner while eating a snack.
Helping to empty the dishwasher and testing out the silverware and cups, they taste good.
Helping to make cupcakes, oh I need a snack now.
Helping to get dressed by taking out all of the clothes. I need to see all of my options.
Seriously, how can you be mad at a face like that?
Cupcake Crumble
I am starting to think there is something missing in these recipes. High altitude maybe? I don't know.
Craft Craziness
Lately, I have been going a bit crazy. I really needed to do something crafty. One day, I ventured out to Wal-Mart just to have something to do. I got Rome a cute baby pool and I ran across these neat stamps on clearance. Yes, I had to buy the clear stamp pad regular price, but I think it was worth it. I spent an entire nap time crawling through the garage, opening boxes and trying to find what I wanted. I was lucky that the bone folder and new paper cutter I just bought were in the last box I packed. Super easy to find. I did end up finding my markers and they worked out great! (now if only I could find my card project.) I cut card stock, folded it and then on the clear stamp block I put the letters I wanted, then the stars, colored them with markers and stamped. Done!
I made these cute cards to go along with the pictures I had done for Rome's first birthday. The guy did such a good job! Okay, the cards are pretty boring, but I feel pretty good considering I did it with almost nothing. And don't feel bad if you don't get one. I only bought one sheet so, Grandmas and Great-Grandmas pretty much covers it. (The big one in the picture is for me. They get little ones to go with the little cards.)
Hair-Break
Today, Josh was so nice and gave me a break watching Rome. He took him while I went to church. Yes, this sounds a little bad, but I really enjoyed it. It was strange to leave the house with out... everything. It was wierd to actually hear the testimonies being spoken. It was odd to fold my arms AND close my eyes during the prayer. Rome is such a busy kid and is always moving and doing something. It makes for a very stressful church experience. My friend Penny and her daughter took him for me once during sunday school and it was so nice! I really like bringing him with me, but sometimes I need a break to remember why I go to all the trouble. Only 5 more months and he is in nursery! Hmmm, to listen to a lesson.

Oh and I got a hair cut.
Goodbye long, glorious curls!
Hello short and sassy! No more frustrated Rome hair pulling. It was just too easily accessible.
Don't worry, The curls are still around. (yes, this is my artistic look)
